Highlights from the October 18, 2004 Division Council Meeting |

Missouri-Arkansas
District Governor Tom Sullivan and Maggie will visit Division
4 on November 13th at Westminster Hall, SE Corner Lexington and
Pleasant, Independence, MO. Make plans now for you and your guest
to attend! The council meeting starts at 6:00 pm, with dinner to
follow at 7:00 pm. Contact Lt. Governor Ray Van Jones for
reservations. Divisions 2 and 3 will join us in greeting our Governor.

The Independence Kiwanis Club's meeting on
November 2 will be at the Independence Salvation Army Building where they will
meet with all of the Independence Service Clubs at noon.

The Downtown Kansas City Club has moved its
meeting location to the Golden Ox, 1600 Genessee, noon Thursdays.

EARL COLLINS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS are
due earlier this year. Applications must be completed by the High School
Senior and delivered to the sponsoring club by November 30th! Clubs need
to be sure counselors have the applications right away and that they know of the
early deadline. Application forms can be
downloaded here. Club scoring sheets
can be downloaded here. Clubs must submit the applications and scoring
sheets to Sue Ridings no later than December 17th, 2004. See the division
directory for Sue's address.

Gifts are needed for a total of 25 students. All Kiwanis
Clubs that would like to support the KSAP students with gifts or contributions
